Haryana Quality Assurance Authority, QCI Discuss Stronger Quality Standards for Infrastructure
Haryana Quality Assurance Authority Chairman Sameer Pal Srow met QCI officials in New Delhi to discuss stronger quality standards, modern inspection systems, technology, capacity building and long-term infrastructure maintenance.
The meeting focused on fostering an institutional culture centred on quality and ensuring effective compliance with quality standards in engineering infrastructure.
Deliberations also covered the strengthening of existing quality inspection mechanisms for roads, buildings, bridges and other public utility structures, along with the adoption of modern quality management systems.
The discussions examined ways to improve quality monitoring, project efficiency and long-term maintenance through capacity building, the use of new technologies and the exchange of expertise.
Sameer Pal Srow also said that the partnership between the two organisations was explored as a means of fostering strategic collaboration and enabling effective interventions across various sectors in Haryana.
The discussions underscored the focus on strengthening quality assurance, inspection and management mechanisms for engineering infrastructure across the state.
